Road to Chengdu: Global Torch Design Contest Launched

The Organising Committee of The World Games (TWG) 2025 Chengdu has officially opened a global contest inviting creative minds to design the official torch for TWG 2025.

 

 

Artists, designers, and sports enthusiasts from around the world are encouraged to submit their proposals, showcasing their unique vision for the iconic torch, which will be part of a nation-wide relay from June to August 2025.

 

The submission deadline is set for 27 September 2024, and applicants can find all relevant guidelines and entry instructions here.

 

This contest presents an exciting opportunity for designers to leave their mark on the prestigious international event, which will take place from 7-17 August 2025.

 

In the international sports event, the torch is a symbol of unity, tradition which embodies the spirit of competition, making it an essential element.
