Write a Song for TWG 2025 Chengdu Notice on Musical Works Solicitation
The World Games 2025 Chengdu (hereinafter referred to as "TWG 2025 Chengdu") will be held in Chengdu from 7 to 17 August 2025. To deliver TWG 2025 Chengdu as an international sports gala with world-class standards, Chinese style and Sichuan characteristics and to show the distinctive cultural features of Chengdu and the sports spirit of The World Games, the Department of Media (Opening and Closing Ceremonies) of the Executive Committee of TWG 2025 Chengdu hereby launches the solicitation for the promotional songs for TWG 2025 Chengdu.
1. Eligibility
Domestic and overseas natural persons, legal persons and other organisations that love sports, support and care about TWG 2025 Chengdu and are willing to actively participate in the solicitation.
2. Content Requirements
Original songs, music and lyrics which are complete and not released in any way before are solicited from the public. The application works should express the vision of TWG 2025 Chengdu, i.e., "Endless Sports, Boundless Wonders", and the true feelings about the sportsmanship, reflect the Chinese cultural heritage and Tianfu cultural characteristics, and show an image of being healthy, upward, confident, optimistic, open and hospitable with vivid musical language in diverse forms and styles of musical works. The melody should be catchy, easy to sing and touching, with an international aesthetic and artistic expression. Different musical styles are encouraged so as to arouse the recognition and resonance of audiences with different cultural backgrounds.

b. Online submission
Log in to the musical works solicitation page of the official website of TWG 2025 Chengdu, download and fill in the application scheme, and send the works and the application scheme to liujie@theworldgames2025.com as required.
Applicants can learn the information and updates of the solicitation and the following evaluation through the official website (https://www.theworldgames2025.com/cn/), the official WeChat public account (“成都2025年世界运动会” in Chinese), and the official Weibo account (“成都2025年世界运动会” in Chinese) of TWG 2025 Chengdu. The Executive Committee of TWG 2025 Chengdu (hereinafter referred to as "Chengdu ExCo") looks forward to and welcomes musicians, sports enthusiasts and people from all walks of life from all over the world to contribute their talents, wisdom and strength to the solicitation.
4. Evaluation
The application works during the solicitation will be evaluated by TWG 2025 Chengdu Musical Works Solicitation Office (hereinafter referred to as the "Office") in accordance with applicable rules. The final excellent works will be selected by the Music Expert Evaluation Committee through preliminary evaluation, re-evaluation and final evaluation.
