Like Your Favourite: TWG 2025 Chengdu Logo Finalists Unveiled
The Organising Committee (OC) of The World Games (TWG) 2025 Chengdu launched the solicitation of the logo on 28 December 2023, which garnered enthusiastic participation from all walks of life and received 3,562 submissions in total. On 2-3 April, during the Final Election Meeting, attended by dozens of renowned designers, communications experts, seasoned scholars and marketing experts worldwide, 10 logo designs were shortlisted. After further optimization, five designs emerged as finalists, which are now open for public voting.

Voting Rules
During the online voting period, you can vote up to 5 times per day, and only once per day for the same design. The voting will end on 29 April 2024 at 6:00 p.m..
You will automatically receive one lottery entry after voting. By clicking on the button of Lottery at User Center, you can enter the draw. The prize is an exclusive metal product of TWG 2025 Chengdu, which will be delivered to the winner via mail.
The entire voting process is monitored by a professional technical team to ensure fairness.
After the voting period, the result, along with the prize-winning account, will be published on the WeChat Official Account of TWG 2025 Chengdu.
The voting result does not directly correspond to the final logo design selected. The submitted designs are preliminary, subject to optimization by the OC. The OC reserves the final right for explanation on the online voting result.
Notes: The exclusive metal product is limited in quantity and will be delivered to the winner once the logo is defined and the merchandise is produced.

Reason for Recommendation
This logo draws inspiration from the giant panda, the initials "C" and "D" for the host city Chengdu in Hanyu Pinyin, ribbons, the Mobius strip, the Sun and Immortal Birds Gold Ornament, and embracing figures. The giant panda symbolises peace and friendship, conveying the core values of harmony and prosperity that TWG 2025 Chengdu aspires to achieve. The incorporation of C and D represents Chengdu, while the ribbons depict the passionate call for the multi-sport event, signifying global unity. The Mobius strip signifies universal connection and infinite possibilities, aligning with the spirit of TWG 2025. The design fosters global exchange, understanding and friendship, showcasing Chengdu's vitality and charm as a modern international metropolis.

Reason for Recommendation
This logo is inspired by the giant panda, the initials "C" and "D" for the host city Chengdu in Hanyu Pinyin, and the Mobius strip. Centered around the theme of "infinite Chengdu," the design incorporates the initials "C" and "D", an infinity symbol, and features of the giant panda's eyes, symbolising that athletes visiting Chengdu will not only have infinite possibilities in sports but also experience the harmonious coexistence of traditional culture and modern trends.

Reason for Recommendation
This logo takes cues from the giant panda, hibiscus flowers, and the Chinese knot. The giant panda, a national treasure of China and a symbol of Sichuan Province, is integrated into the design, emphasising the identity and cultural significance of the host city Chengdu. The Chinese knot illustrates unity, prosperity and luck, emphasising the importance of unity and reflecting the core values of TWG 2025. The hibiscus flower, as the city flower of Chengdu, perfectly blends with the giant panda and Chinese knot, conveying both the Olympic spirit and highlighting Chinese traditional elements and Chengdu's characteristics, embodying the values of unity, inclusiveness and diversity.

Reason for Recommendation
This logo is based on elements of medals, the Sun and Immortal Birds Gold Ornament, the Mobius strip and a running track. Visualised as a medal, representing harmonious and inclusive Chengdu, it consists of the Sun and Immortal Birds Gold Ornament, portraying the spirit of pursuing light, unity and harmony, which is a prominent feature of TWG 2025. The ribbon shape of the medal, formed by the uppercase letters C and D for Chengdu, manifests the Mobius strip, representing a global sports community by world athletes. The pattern on the ribbon consists of red, blue, white and green tracks, emphasising the harmony and inclusiveness of TWG 2025. The overall design showcases the charm and value of sports.

This logo draws inspiration from the initials "CC" for "CHINA CHENGDU," a running track and ribbons. The easily recognisable design of the initials "CC" is simple yet modern, and visually impactful, representing Chengdu as a modern metropolis and expressing the vitality embodied by TWG 2025. The running track embodies speed and passion, representing the relentless pursuit and spirit of competition of athletes. The flowing and dynamic ribbons convey the vitality and openness of Chengdu, as well as the vision of people from around the world coming together to pursue the dream of sports.
