Young Students Experience Flying Disc in Chengdu

On 3 June, Chengdu Chenghua Jiaxiang Foreign Languages School held an activity to introduce Flying Disc (Ultimate) on The World Games (TWG) sport programme to its young students and get them immersed in the charm of the team sport.

 

 

Wang Yuyan, Li Juntu and Lin Lijun, three members of the Chinese national team of Ultimate for TWG 2025, were specially invited to this event. They expressed that this kind of events would promote Flying Disc and encourage the young generation to take part in it and probably participate in TWG in the future via hard training.

 

 

Additionally, over 90 students had fun training for Ultimate with the national-level coach delegated by the Chengdu Flying Disc Association. They learned basic passing and catching techniques and played a match to experience the joy and excitement of Flying Disc.

 

The sport is increasing in popularity in Chengdu, and more such activities will come to the city in the future.
