The Rotor Global Masters 2024 wrapped up on 24 August at the flight base of Sichuan Haoyun General Aviation Co., Ltd. in Chongzhou, Chengdu, fueling the local enthusiasm for Air Sports ahead of The World Games 2025 Chengdu.
This year’s event brought together nearly 80 pilots from over 10 countries and regions, vying for top honors across three categories: Masters, Expert, and Sportsman.

After a series of thrilling aerial performances, the Masters category was won by MinChan Kim from the Republic of Korea, with Thailand’s Sakkarin CD taking second place, and China’s Kenny Ko finishing third. In the Expert category, Thailand’s Checky claimed the top spot, while the Sportsman category saw CK, also from Thailand, secure first place.
First held in Chongzhou in 2015, the Rotor Global Masters, focusing on remote controlled helicopters, has become a notable event in the Air Sports calendar. This year marked the sixth edition of the competition.
