Anticipating the 12th World DanceSport Festival in Chengdu

The highly anticipated 12th World DanceSport Festival is scheduled to take place on 21-22 September, 2024 at Chengbei Gymnasium in Chengdu. This prestigious event is set to be a remarkable showcase of talent, passion and dedication to the art of dance, with participation expected from over 1,000 elite athletes representing more than 30 countries and regions worldwide.

 

 

In the lead-up to this event, dance instructors from across China converged in Chengdu for an intensive pre-competition training camp from 27-30 August. These instructors will not only hone their skills but will also have the extraordinary opportunity to participate in various dance forms during the event, gaining insights directly from the world’s most renowned dancers.

 

Chengdu Chengbei Gymnasium

 

This dance competition will serve as a test event for DanceSport events at The World Games (TWG) 2025 Chengdu. All events will be organised and prepared in strict accordance with TWG standards. Chengbei Gymnasium will once again be the stage for DanceSport. Be sure to save the dates for the following TWG 2025 events:
