2024 FAI World Drone Racing Championship Concludes in Hangzhou, China

 

On 3 November, the 2024 FAI World Drone Racing Championship wrapped up in Hangzhou City, China, with the Chinese team securing the runner-up position in the category of national teams, marking the best performance of the country in the event’s history. The Republic of Korea claimed first place, while Japan finished in third.

 

 

The championship attracted 111 drone pilots from 32 countries and regions. In addition to the team event, the competition also featured Overall & Junior, and Women categories. Chinese pilots Luo Yimeng and He Yutong made it to the Women’s finals.

 

The Drone Sports events will be featured at The World Games 2025 Chengdu, taking place from 14 to 16 August at Dong’an Lake Sports Park, offering another exciting platform for drone enthusiasts.
