2024 Sichuan Flag Football Opens in Chengdu: A Thrilling Prelude to TWG 2025

From 30 November to 1 December, the 2024 Sichuan Youth Flag Football Open and the 2024 Sichuan College Flag Football Open were successfully held at Chengdu Longquan Xiangyangqiao Middle School. These events served as a prelude to build momentum for The World Games (TWG) 2025 in Chengdu.

 

 

The competition attracted over 200 athletes and coaches from Chengdu City and Hunan Province, showcasing the growing enthusiasm for Flag Football in China.

 

 

The games were a display of athleticism and teamwork. Every player gave their all, and each team demonstrated resilience and strategy on the field. From spectacular pass plays to touchdowns, the matches kept the audience on the edge of their seats, igniting cheers and applause with every thrilling moment.

 

 

After intense competition, the winners were announced amid enthusiastic applause from the crowd: 14 teams stood out, such as Chengdu International Studies University and Chengdu Yandaojie Primary School (East Campus), earning top honours in their respective categories, marking a triumphant conclusion to the tournament.

 

These exciting games not only celebrated the spirit of competition but also further promoted Flag Football in preparation for the global stage at TWG 2025.
