TWG 2025 Monthly Fair Brings Sports and Cultural Festivities to Chengdu's Luodai Ancient Town
On 15 December, the twelfth of The World Games (TWG) 2025 Twelve Monthly Fairs was officially launched at Wufeng Tower Square in Luodai Ancient Town, Chengdu, which is a historical and cultural town located in the southeast of the city, known for its well-preserved traditional architecture, Hakka culture, and its role as a centre for ancient tea trading.
The event featured a comprehensive program, including TWG cultural promotion, TWG sports experiences, a rural fun sports festival, and a local specialty market. Over a hundred families participated in the fun sports festival, while more than a thousand visitors to Luodai Ancient Town had the opportunity to engage with and experience various TWG sports. This gathering created an engaging and vibrant atmosphere, uniting both locals and tourists in celebration of the upcoming global event.
This fair will continue to expand into more villages and towns across Chengdu, offering a variety of sports competitions, such as Square Dancing, Tai Chi, and Tug of War. These events not only promote community involvement but also foster excitement and anticipation for TWG 2025 among Chengdu's rural residents.
