Beach Korfball World Cup Asia Concludes in Bangkok, Teams Qualify for TWG 2025

The IKF Beach Korfball World Cup (Asia) 2024 concluded on 7 December in Bangkok, Thailand, with teams from 10 countries and regions across three continents competing in the tournament. Chinese Taipei claimed the championship title, followed by Czechia as the runner-up and Poland securing third place.

The event saw an impressive display of athleticism, with 478 goals scored across 31 matches, highlighting the speed, skill, and teamwork of the athletes. Marking a milestone, this tournament was the first appearance of Team China in the series. The team delivered a strong performance to secure the 5th place.

 

Organised by the Korfball Association of Thailand, the tournament also served as a qualifier for Korfball events of The World Games 2025 Chengdu, where Beach will make its debut alongside Indoor.
