Members of China's national Boules Sports team (Pétanque and Lyonnaise) have recently gathered at Yunlong Campus of Hainan Vocational University of Science and Technology to commence their winter training camp in preparation for The World Games 2025. The camp will take place in two phases: 11–25 January and 2–19 February 2025.

Over the next month, the team will undergo an intensive high-performance training programme designed to enhance their physical fitness, technical skills, and tactical coordination. To maximise the effectiveness of the training, the coaching staff has developed a scientific and highly targeted training plan, with daily sessions exceeding eight hours. The physical training focuses on improving endurance and explosive power, while the technical drills emphasise precision, force control, and strategic ball placement. Additionally, the tactical training aims to strengthen team coordination and adaptability in competitive scenarios.

During this winter camp, students at the university have a unique opportunity to observe and engage with the national team up close. Team members have been sharing their experiences, inspiring students, and fostering greater enthusiasm for Boules Sports. This interaction not only raises awareness of the sport but also strengthens the connection between elite athletes and the younger generation of aspiring players.
