Chinese MotoSurf Team Earns Spots for TWG 2025 Chengdu
On 23 February, the MotoSurf qualifier for The World Games (TWG) 2025 concluded in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. The Chinese team excelled, securing spots for one male and one female athlete, as well as a mixed-gender team. Combined with the slots granted as the host, Team China now have qualifications for four male and four female athletes, along with two mixed-gender teams in this discipline.
In the finals, Chinese athletes showed tremendous grit and determination amid fierce competition on the water. In the men's category, Jin Shulin, Zu Linxing, Zhang Maozhu, and Feng Zhanghao finished in 5th, 9th, 10th, and 13th places respectively. Meanwhile, in the women's division, Chai Xin, Gao Jiayin, Li Zimeng, and Yue Ningxin took 6th, 10th, 14th, and 15th places.
This competition was not only a test of the team's strength but also provided invaluable experience ahead of TWG 2025. Since its establishment, this MotoSurf team has steadily improved through participation in international events. With the Games on the horizon, they will ramp up training and make targeted readjustments to bring glory to the country.
