Chengdu Roller Sports Centre to Debut in June, Set to Host TWG 2025 Events
The Chengdu Roller Sports Centre in Xindu District is now entering its final decoration phase and is set to debut in June 2025 in the host city. As the first professional venue eligible for international Roller Sports events in southwest China, it will host three disciplines of The World Games (TWG) 2025 Chengdu: Inline Freestyle, Inline Hockey, and Speed Skating.
According to Luo Yangdanlin, a representative of the venue, the facility has recently been handed over to the operator. “The venue is scheduled to be operational in early June. To ensure the smooth hosting of TWG 2025 Chengdu, we will conduct a series of test events and preparations for the three disciplines.”
Luo further noted that after its official launch, the centre will also serve as a key venue for major national and international indoor Roller Sports competitions.
