Sichuan Airlines Becomes TWG 2025 Global Partner

On 28 March 2025, Sichuan Airlines officially became the global partner in the aviation category for the 12th edition of The World Games (TWG), as marked by the signing of a tripartite cooperation agreement between the International World Games Association (IWGA), the Executive Committee of TWG 2025 Chengdu (Chengdu ExCo) and Sichuan Airlines, with the goal of providing high-quality air travel services to all the participants coming to Chengdu for TWG 2025 this summer.

 

IWGA President José Perurena attended the signing ceremony, presenting Sichuan Airlines with commemorative pins. Chengdu ExCo gifted the airline the event mascots Shu Bao and Jin Zai, and Sichuan Airlines reciprocated with A350 aircraft models for both parties.

 

 

“We warmly welcome Sichuan Airlines to The World Games family. Their support will help make TWG 2025 a truly world-class event, bringing athletes and fans together from all corners of the globe. Sichuan Airlines’ wide network of connections will facilitate participants to travel to Chengdu and take part in what promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” said José Perurena.

 

“We are deeply honoured to be the official aviation partner of The World Games 2025 Chengdu,” according to Li Yue, Chairman of Sichuan Airlines. “We are committed to creating a seamless travel experience for athletes and spectators from around the world and building a bridge for cultural exchange through the spirit of sports.”
