TWG 2025 Technical Operation Centre Launched

 

On 29 April, as the 100-day countdown to The World Games (TWG) 2025 Chengdu began, the Technical Operation Centre (TOC) was formally launched, marking that preparation for the Games has now entered a crucial phase of operational readiness in the field of technical capabilities.

 

The TOC serves as the central hub for IT operations during the Games, ensuring efficient command, system monitoring, incident response, and emergency coordination. It will oversee core technical systems, network communications, and cybersecurity, manage radio frequency security, support venues in handling IT issues, and allocate related equipment, infrastructure, and personnel.

 

 

To date, TWG 2025 has completed the network deployment plans for 27 competition venues, as well as for key non-competition venues including the opening and closing ceremonies, the TWG Village, and the Main Media Centre. A number of core technical systems have already been deployed to manage Games information and operational tasks.
