TWG 2025 AHA Training Begins

On 26 May 2025, an emergency training programme certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) for The World Games (TWG) 2025 medical team officially launched. Over 300 key medical personnel from across Chengdu began intensive training at three emergency training centres, coordinated by Department of Logistical Support from the Executive Committee of TWG 2025 Chengdu.

 

 

Following the latest international guidelines from the AHA, the programme combines theory and practical skills, covering CPR for adults and children, AED use, and emergency response in sports injury scenarios. Trainees will undergo rigorous assessments to earn globally recognised AHA certifications.

 

 

The course also includes modules on sudden cardiac arrest prevention and mass casualty management, further strengthening the team’s emergency response capabilities and ensuring top-level medical support for athletes, officials, and spectators during the Games.
