Chengdu No.7 High School Eastern Campus Upgrading for American Football, Lacrosse

Chengdu No.7 High School Eastern Campus is now upgrading as a competition venue for The World Games 2025 Chengdu to host Lacrosse (Sixes Lacrosse) from 7 to 11 August and American Football (Flag Football) from 14 to 17 August.

 

 

The athletics field here will be converted into a dual-purpose venue specifically for Flag Football and Sixes Lacrosse, aligning with international competition requirements.

 

The upgrade focuses on maximising the existing high-quality facilities to provide top-tier conditions for athletes and an unparalleled viewing experience for spectators, according to Cao Dan, Deputy Head of Communications at the Venue Operations Centre of the school.

 

 

Notably, both Flag Football and Sixes Lacrosse have been officially included in the LA 2028 Summer Olympics.
