Roller Sports Begin First Training Session in Xindu District
On 6 August, Roller Sports athletes held their first official training session at the Chengdu Roller Sports Centre, Xindu District.

At noon, athletes from the Chinese Inline Hockey Team, clad in dragon-emblazoned uniforms and professional gear, swiftly maneuvered across the court.

“The venue is excellent, the equipment is top-notch, and the staff are very professional and dedicated. You can tell that the Organising Committee of The World Games 2025 places great importance on this event,” said Liu Chaoyi, a player from the Chinese Inline Hockey Team. “I will definitely give it my all and perform at my highest level!”
Later in the day, other Inline Hockey teams took to the venue for training.
Argentine coach Sebastian Marengo spoke warmly of the event: "One of the best things about Inline Hockey is the way it brings people together. It's a real joy to be here, sharing this experience with my team."

Roller Sports competitions at The World Games 2025, involving three disciplines, namely, Inline Freestyle, Inline Hockey and Speed Skating, will take place from 7 to 17 August. At this venue — the first professional indoor Speed Skating arena in Southwest China — Inline Hockey officially opened the Roller Sports competitions.
