The first-ever torch of TWG "Zhumeng" was unveiled on 27 February 2025, symbolising the pursuit of dreams and the spirit of sportsmanship. Its design combines traditional Chinese elements and modern aesthetics, reflecting Chengdu’s cultural heritage.

The slogan for TWG 2025, "Boundless Sports, Countless Wonders," was revealed on 6 August 2024, highlighting the spirit of sport and Chengdu's culture.

TWG 2025 mascots, Shu Bao the giant panda and Jin Zai the golden snub-nosed monkey, were revealed to promote biodiversity and Sichuan's wildlife.

In May 2019, Chengdu was awarded the hosting rights for The World Games 2025, marking the first time mainland China hosts the event.
