On 28 December, The World Games 2025 Chengdu global promotion and launch ceremony of fun TWG experiences for all campaign was held in Chengdu.

The Sports Programme for The World Games 2025 in Chengdu, China is now confirmed. Over the ten days of competition, a total of 262 gold medals will be awarded in 35 sports and 62 disciplines.

So far, six out of a total of 35 sports have made their first entries on the qualification list: these are Boules, Fistball, Floorball, Gymnastics (Trampoline), Karate and Korfball.

Eight teams will compete in each of the two disciplines in Chengdu, China, with 15 players in the rosters, for a total of 240 softball athletes.
