FAQ’s and Answers on TWG 2025 Chengdu Ticket-Booking Application

1. Does ticket purchasing adopt the real-name system?

Tickets for the Games must be purchased using real names. The purchasers need to provide their real-name-based details, including but not limited to name, type of ID and ID number, to tie each ticket with the information of its holder.

2. Is there an age limit for the ticket purchaser?

The minors can not purchase tickets alone. They must share one order with at least one adult aged above18 years. Children under 6 years of age on the date of the match can be admitted with valid identity documents. However, each child must share a seat with his/her guardian. Ticket-holding children aged above 6 on the date of the match are permitted entry on condition of being in the company of their guardian.

3. Can we purchase tickets for other people? Is there any limit on the number of tickets one individual can buy?

It is allowed to purchase tickets for others. However, please do make sure that the accurate identity details of the ticket holders are put in. One valid ID card gets one ticket to the same match. One single account is allowed to purchase no more than six tickets to the same match. (Among the holders of the six tickets there must be at least one adult.)

4. Why can’t we select seats?

To ensure fairness and efficiency of ticket allocation, all tickets must be purchased on a basis featuring the principle of "use real-name for registration and select price tiers but not seats" . When the free refund period closes, the system will automatically assign specific seats and areas based on the order of payment and the selected price tier. For tickets purchased after the free refund deadline, the seat and area will be assigned within 24 hours. If a ticket is purchased less than 24 hours prior to the event, the system will assign seat as quickly as possible.

In cases where seat adjustments are necessary due to camera setups, obstructed views, etc., we will notify ticket holders in advance and make changes accordingly.

5. How can we confirm that a ticket-booking application is successful?

When a ticket-purchase attempt is successful, the purchaser will receive a text message or email confirming it. At the same time, the ticket information can be checked on the page of “Me-My order” in the ticketing system.

6. Overseas spectators reported of the failure to receive text messages after reserving tickets. What is your advised solution?

International text messages may be subject to delays due to glitches of overseas carrier networks.
